now I've decided to give this space on the internet another shot -
- tasting - My sister
Yes it was.
I learned a lot of things, made some great mental adjustments, and started slipping at about day 2 (or 1). Anyways, even though I didn't complete the "prescribed plan", I have made some good adjustments. I've added a LOT of salads (big deal for me) and added diet coke back in (also a big deal for me)
- feeling - Crazy weather. Like a good portion of the US, we went through the "polar vortex", then we bounced up towards the 50+. Then dropped back down to 1+. We got 4 inches of snow yesterday (with very little predicted) and are digging back out of that to face almost 60 this weekend.
I've been wearing a lot of comfy sweaters, boots & knee socks, and wrapping up in blankets.
- smelling - hmm. Food? During my food deprivation, food I don't generally order or eat smelled AMAZING!
Grilled Chicken Caesar? Check.
- seeing - pictures. I've been sorting pictures and preparing to work on preserving my memories. I also brought so many pictures of friends and family to work to hang up. Sometimes I just take a moment and get lost looking at them. I have the best friends and family! <3 p="">
- hearing - music at work (yay me!) and stories at home. I love to listen to a good dramatized story! Most of my downtime has been devoted to playing a game/browsing the interwebs, wrapped in a blanket, and listening to a story!
Sounds like a good plan for tonight! :)
I have so many ideas and plans rolling around in my head - here's to "un-procrastinating" in 2014 :)
